LINKS (DAR) holds briefing in Brussels on ongoing crisis in the Gulf

LINKS (Dialogue, Analysis and Research) held a brieifing event in Brussels on Wednesday 14 June 2017 on the ongoing crisis in the  Gulf and the stand-off between Qatar and some other GCC countries. The event entitled  “Crisis in the Gulf: History, context and consequences” was held at the Brussels Press Club and was attended by diplomats, representatives of EU institutions, journalists and representatives of think tanks.

The speakers at the event included Dr Dennis Sammut, Director, LINKS (DAR): “A crisis rooted in history”; Bill Law, Journalist and Managing Editor, The Gulf Matters:
“Context and consequences of the rift within the GCC”

The event was chaired by Adel Hamaizia from SOAS, University of London and Oxford University.
