Members of LINKS working group discuss confidence-building measures with representatives of EU, UN and OSCE

Members of the LINKS working group on confidence-building measures in the Nagorno-Karabakh context discussed the work that the group is currently undertaking with representatives of international organisations, at a workshop held in Oxford on Tuesday, 13 November 2018.

The working group was established in June 2017 to develop and promote ideas related to confidence-building measures in the Nagorno-Karabakh context. The group is made up of Armenian and Azerbaijani experts and is chaired by LINKS.

After presentations by the members of the Working Group,  Atanas Baltov (EU), Cihan Sultanoglu (UN) and Rudolph Michalka (OSCE) expressed appreciation for the work that is being done in the framework of the WG and spoker about the efforts of their respective organisations in support of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

Representatives of a number of international non-governmental organisations also participated in the meeting.

The members of the LINKS Working group on Confidence-building measures in the Nagorno-Karabakh context are Eduard Abrahamyan (Armenia) Ahmad Alili (Azerbaijan), Richrad Giragosian (Armenia), Ashkhen Grigorian (Armenia), Lusine Kharatyan (Armenia), Ramazan Samadov (Azerbaijan) and Zaur Shiriyev (Azerbaijan). the chairman of the working group is Dennis Sammut (on behalf of LINKS)
